England's dream of winning the 2006 World Cup in Germany will face
its biggest threat not from Europe, but from South America and Africa. Those
are the key features to emerge from The Scouting Network's summer coverage of
the FIFA World Youth Championships and Confederations Cup.
Nigeria's achievement in reaching
the World Youth final was a clear indication that the trickle of talent from
Africa is becoming a flood, and The Scouting Network's detailed reports on such
players has proven very significant to clubs and agencies. Meanwhile, the
Confederations Cup final between Brazil and Argentina raised the prospect of a
South American side winning the World Cup in Europe for the first time since
the young Pele burst onto the scene in 1958.
So far this summer The Scouting Network has watched and taped
every game at the Toulon tournament, FIFA World Youth Championships and
Confederations Cup, with the Gold Cup and Asian Championships soon to follow.
The reports have provided a detailed assessment from TSN's team of experienced
scouts on every player who played in these tournaments, with a recommended list
of potential emerging talent.
The take up of tournament reviews
by clubs, agencies and organisations who want to gain insight into this vast
collection of player information, has already been excellent. This has mostly
been due to the excellent value of each report, with the Toulon, World Youth
Championships and Confederations Cup reports all completed and available for
£299, £499 and £299 respectively (all plus VAT), with
the Gold Cup and Asian reports available at £499 and £299
when their respective tournaments are completed.
